Comment mesurer :

What you'll need:

A soft measuring tape and a trusted friend to assist you.

 

Chest

  1. Stand up straight.

  2. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, which is usually right under your armpit and across your shoulder blades (around nipple level). 

  3. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight (you should be able to slide one finger under it comfortably).​

  4. Look at the number where the tape meets. That's your chest measurement (in inches or centimeters).

Length 

  1. Stand up straight.

  2. Place the measuring tape at the top of your shoulder, right beside the base of your neck (the highest point of your shoulder seam).

  3. Run the tape straight down the front of your body to the point where you want the top fit to end. For most people this is just below the hip or around mid-fly level.

  4. This number (in inches or centimeters) is your upper body length for sizing reference.

 

Waist

  1. Stand up straight.

  2. Place the tape flat around your waist (the narrowest part of your torso, usually located just below your belly button and below your rib cage).​

  3. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight (you should be able to slide one finger under it comfortably).​

  4. Look at the number where the tape meets. That's your waist measurement (in inches or centimeters).

Inseam

  1. Stand up straight with your legs slightly apart.

  2. Place the tape at the top of your inner thigh, right at the point where your leg meets your groin.

  3. Measure down to the desired length:

  • For joggers, measure down to your ankle bone (or slightly above, if you like a cropped look).

  • For shorts, measure down to where you want them to end - usually: 

           5-7 inches for above the knee

           8-9 inches for at the knee

          10-11 inches for below the knee

   4. This number (in inches or centimeters) is your inseam length.
